I was looking around at some blogs by writers this week and noticed that most of them contain frequent, short posts.
How do they say anything?

I have no idea how they say anything (perhaps they actually don't?). I definitely wouldn't be capable of saying much of anything worthwhile (maybe that's the key, the signifigance of what is said) in a short space. Especially with poor communication skills. I typically have to be very explicit and detailed to avoid communication failure, and even then I don't always avoid it.
Also, I was trying to determine if you had said anything in your ironically short post, and I figured one might describe it (or many other similar statements) by say, "There's something informative hidden in there somewhere." Which made me think: Why is it that it is frequently the short statements with fewer words that are more capable of "hiding" their message? There's less material available to hide behind!
